The Belle & Sparrows Center

It all started when…

Four years ago when we saw a need (or gap in services) for women exiting or completing a year long recovery program. We began more research and spent more time in prayer and felt the call to open The Belle & Sparrows Center!

The Center is an on the job training program and employment center for women who have already completed a year or more in a recovery home and are currently in a phase two transition housing program. The women we serve are recovering from domestic violence, incarceration, addiction, sex trafficking and other abuse.

The Center provides a safe environment for the women to transition from a low wage earning position to one that can either supplement their income or provide them a job while they are learning new skills and a trade to become exemplary employees at a job they have always dreamed of. This center does not only empower them to continue their journey, but also stand beside them as they succeed. Our vision is a future where all women will lead a healthy, fulfilling life of self-reliance and dignity. We have a team of individuals that are passionate about making this a reality by creating vibrant local economies where citizens, government officials and community-based organizations work in effective and collaborative partnerships.

This center is a force for hope for them. The women are paid for the goods they produce, and women and children receive opportunities for work and school on another continent.  The connecting bridge of the Stella Projects is Embracing the World.
